Luis Hernán, is currently a partner of Paúl & Cía. and participates in the boards of Ingevec, Salcobrand, Pesquera Camanchaca, Doggis and the Center for Corporate Governments of the Catholic University. Previously, he was a partner of Fontaine and Paúl Consultores, Manager of Strategy and Management Control of Quiñenco and director of Aguas Andinas, Santander Chile Holdings, Banco Edwards, AFP Capital, Enami, Sistema de Empresas Públicas (SEP), Interamericana Seguros de Vida, Telefónica del Sur, Banco HNS, Chilesat PCS, Santander Seguros de Vida, Habitaria and Salmonoil, among others.

In addition, he is a professor of Corporate Governments and Family Businesses in the MBA Program of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
