Payer contract

The payer's contract is signed every time you accept the terms when making a payment in Khipu.

In order for a natural or legal person to pay using Khipu, they must sign the mandate in which they request that Khipu deliver to the corresponding collector the funds received from the payer to complete a previously determined payment. This mandate is signed by adhesion, along with an annex in which the conditions of the payment are identified.

The process is very simple, but it has the drawback that there is no negotiation of the contract. Just as you understand that for us it is impossible to negotiate different contracts for each client for a service like this, we understand that it is important for the contract to be clear and say everything relevant. We have worked inspired by that idea, but if you feel that there is something important that we should explain better, we would love to know what it is, please contact us through the “support” option at the bottom of the webpages of our portal.

An adhesion contract is a type of contract whose clauses are drafted by only one of the parties (in our case Khipu), which means the other party is limited to accepting or rejecting the contract in its entirety. It sounds harsh and unfair, but the law takes care of compensating those who accept an adhesion contract, interpreting in their favor everything that is not clearly and explicitly stated in the contract. So it is tough for us as well. The idea is to never have to refer to the contract; we work to ensure that our service is enjoyed.
