Khipu announced on Wednesday that it has filed a protection appeal against Banco Estado, for preventing users from using the payment platform in its systems to process their ecommerce transactions.

According to what was indicated by the Chilean FinTech, the bank has tried to condition the unlocking of Khipu “forcing it to assume the costs associated with practices known as phishing and self-fraud”, despite not being the responsibility of said platform, incurring -according to Khipu managers- in practices that threaten healthy competition and rightly against various constitutional guarantees.
